Orem Sex Offender Registration Requirements
Registrants in Orem must provide a full set of personal and identifying information each time they check in. Required data includes all names used, current primary and secondary addresses, physical description, all vehicle information including motor vehicles, aircraft, and watercraft subject to registration, phone numbers, email addresses and internet identifiers, social media and website accounts, employment and volunteer positions including employer name and address, school enrollment, professional licenses, passport and immigration documents where they apply, fingerprints, a current photo, a DNA specimen, and Social Security number.
Secondary residence is any property the offender owns or stays at for 10 or more nights during a 12-month period. Both primary and secondary residences must be reported. A new secondary residence must be reported within 3 business days of the first overnight stay that puts the offender on track to exceed the 10-night threshold. Changes to any item on this list follow the same 3-business-day rule.
The annual fee is $100, due at registration. Offenders convicted of crimes involving minors face proximity restrictions near schools, daycares, parks, playgrounds, and public pools throughout Orem. Violating these restrictions is a criminal offense separate from any failure-to-register charge.
